After spending 20 years working for, and on the circuit with Alfa Romeo, Ferrari left with a vision of a 12-cylinder engine for both the track and the road. On March 2, 1947 Enzo himself drove the first 125S out of the factory, and into history.

Kimi Räikkönen, driver of the Scuderia Ferrari, won his first Formula One Drivers’ World Championship this year. He finished just 1 point ahead of the McLaren-Mercedes team, making him the 12th driver from the Scuderia Ferrari team to manage such a feat.
