The proliferation of Wi-Fi technology is much like the birth of a child. No longer are we attached to the internet via a physical cord, so not surprisingly, computing is getting more and more portable. As a result, laptops have become increasingly prevalent in both business and home applications.

Our latest gadgets content can be found in the gadgets category in our new magazine format. Archived travel content can be found in the gadgets section on our blog.

Resources

CNET
CNET always has good in-depth reviews and a sleek site structure. You can browse laptops by price, manufacturer and by the editors’ top picks.

PC Magazine
Similar to CNET, this site offers multiple ways to browse laptop reviews. Not quite as intuitive as the CNET site, but it still offers quite a bit of good information.

PC World
Not as easy to browse as CNET or PCMag, but it’s a good place to find a second or third opinion on a laptop.

Geek.com
Not as sleek as the rest of the list, but there is still some good info here.

Gizmodo
This site focuses on all gadget news, but consumers can choose only to look at specific gadgets, such as laptops.

Engadget
Another blog that contains all kinds of gadget news, but has its own laptop page, which focuses on new laptop releases as well as laptop-related news.
