It would be difficult to trace Sienna Miller’s career without mentioning her personal life, a favorite of the tabloids that has frequently overshadowed Sienna’s work as an actress. Credit Jude Law and “Alfie” for ushering then 22-year-old Sienna onto the top lists of celebrity hounds and gossip columnists as her whirlwind romance with the Brit actor took flight. And yet, almost half a decade has passed and Sienna continues making entertainment headlines with her much publicized romances with such incredible names
as Rhys Ifans and Balthazar Getty. Better to start from the beginning.
Sienna was born in New York in 1981. After her parents split when she was six, she lived with her mother and sister in London. She later attended boarding school at an all girl’s institution and, upon graduation, returned to New York to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. At the age of 21, she journeyed back to London to participate in a brief FOX television show called “Keen Eddie.” But by then it was 2004, a year that would forever change the course of Sienna Miller’s career. She played opposite Daniel Craig in “Layer Cake,” and then stole the heart of Jude Law, nine years her senior. But it was more the exposure of that unlikely relationship that catapulted Sienna’s name in the industry than the acting talents she had slowly nurtured.
The Law mess eventually fizzled in 2006, but by then, Rhys Ifans was seeking her affection, and in the summer of 2008, Ifans was replaced with Balthazar Getty. There were also relationships with Orlando Bloom, James Franco, Hayden Christensen, and Daniel Craig. While dealing with these men, Sienna also was making movies, such as “Factory Girl,” “Casanova,” “Interview” and “Stardust.” she closes in on 30, it’s almost time for Sienna to grow up. The roles she has lined up through the end of the decade appear promising, and she has it in her to emerge as a strong actress, but only if she can dial down the personal drama a bit.

She’s Fiona for 13 episodes on “Keen Eddie,” Tammy in “Layer Cake,” Nikki in “Alfie,” Francesca Bruni in “Alfie,” Edie in “Factory Girl,” Katya in “Interview,” Victoria in “Stardust,” and Jane in “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh.” Sienna shares top billing on “The Edge of Love” with Keira Knightley and Cillian Murphy, which premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
