Out there
Destinations and Diversions
- What I did on my
vacation (01/23/2004)
Following a rather lengthy hiatus from the pages of Bullz-Eye, Mitch returns
to tell everybody about his glorious adventures, including his introduction
to "bangling" (a hybrid between mountain biking and fishing) and
his home-brewing education.
- A view from The Show
(04/01/2003)
After recently spending the day at the Cycle World Show in Cleveland, Mitch
gives us the low-down on the good, the bad and even some of the ugly from
the big enchilada of preseason bike events.
- The moment you've
all been waiting for (01/13/2003)
Another year behind us, another slew of awards shows ahead. Mitch's own
"Mitchie Awards," though, are actually meaningful, like the
presentation of the Frosty Beverage, Criminally Insane Smart Guy and
Two-Wheeled Wonder of the year awards.
- An owner's manual
for winter (12/17/2002)
There's snow on the slopes and a chill in the air, which must mean it's
winter. Mitch highlights some gear that'll keep you busy this season,
including the NeverSummer SL snowboard, the PT Blaster sled and, of course,
a little Wild Turkey!
- What I did on my summer
vacation: Nothing! (09/02/2002)
Summer is about to give way to fall and then winter, and if you're like
Mitch you probably didn't take advantage of the past few months. Now's the
time to make amends before it's too late.

Mitch Post is an amateur writer and a professional sports junkie. Ask anyone who has ever spent five minutes with him. The guy just can't shut up about the newest gear or his latest adventure. If it's ever been called a sport, you can bet your firstborn that Mitch has personally checked out the hype (unless it's skydiving, hang-gliding, or anything else involving altitude. Hey, even tough guys have a phobia or two!). That's where
"Out There" comes in. Mitch clings to his youth by abusing his body, testing the gear, and finding the ideal places to do it. You get to experience it for yourself from the comfort and safety of your living room, and everyone's happy!
But we're not just throwing a ham-'n'-egger to the wolves. In addition to a keen sense of adventure, Mitch has some bona-fide sports experience too. From a lifetime of football, baseball and basketball, to a turn behind the wheel of a grand prix race boat, and an addiction to adventure sports like mountain biking and snowboarding, his expertise is real. Mitch has pulled up his Cleveland roots and relocated to Pittsburgh, where he spends his days working in the sporting goods industry and glomming new gear before it hits the stores.
Join Mitch right here at Bullz-Eye.com every month for another action-packed installment of
"Out There." We promise it won't hurt a bit. You might even find some kick-ass ideas for your next road trip or toy purchase! And you can always share your comments,
experiences and ideas by sending an e-mail to Mpost@Bullz-Eye.com.
