Tail Slide sunglasses from Maui Jim

It may still be winter, but you should always be protecting your eyes with quality sunglasses. Plus, you’re probably planning a winter getaway to the beach or maybe spring break, so a cool new pair of shades may be just what you need.

We tried the new Tail Slide sunglasses from Maui Jim. This classic design comes in a variety of unique color combinations, and we tried the Matte Grey Stripe pair pictured above. The lens comes in neutral grey, with the lens material made of SuperThin Glass which is 20% thinner and lighter than standard glass.

We noticed rich colors and sharp contrast with the sunglasses. The major difference between Polarized and non-polarized lenses is the ability to block horizontal glare. Non-polarized lenses simply dim light by a specific transmission level, but can’t manage the over-illuminated reflected glare. Polarized lenses dim light as well, but they can further reduce over-illuminated reflected glare. That uncomfortable reflected glare that can feel blinding in certain situations can be reduced by up to 99.9% by Polarized lenses.

So regardless of whether you make it to the beach anytime soon, look for some cool shades like these Tail Slide sunglasses so you can look good while protecting your eyes!
