3 – Read the fine print
Many prop bets are very exact. This gives the book a reason to not pay. For instance, if there is a prop bet that your favorite quarterback will throw a touchdown, make sure that it doesn’t matter how many as logn as he throws one. This is because they could easily say that since he scored more than one, the “a touchdown” is not valid as it meant he would only score one.
