Bingo has been making plenty of noise over the last few months with hundreds of new people joining sites every day in the UK. Playing on safe bingo sites like https://www.moonbingo.com couldn’t be more popular in fact and real thriving communities are forming within them. They do note only offer great places to play bingo, a simple game that provides plenty of fun, but also a place to hang out with friends and chat while you play. Suggested Movie: The Trial of the Chicago 7

The Trial of the Chicago 7 was released on Netflix a little while ago but as we get closer to the Oscars it is time to start watching the contenders and at present this movie is among the favourites to win Best Picture, behind only Nomadland and Mank. The film, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, stars Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, Eddie Redmayne, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and a host of other big names. It follows the Chicago Seven, a group of anti-Vietnam War campaigners ho were charged with crossing state lines to incite riots at the 1968 Deomacratic National Convention.

The legal drama is sharp, clever, and compelling and it’s a good depiction of just what went down during the objections to the Vietnam War.

Suggested TV Show: Back to Life

Back to Life has just appeared on Netflix after premiering on BBC television in 2019. Starring Daisy Haggard as Miri, a woman who returns home after serving an 18-year prison sentence and is trying to pick up her life with the world having left her behind. Set on the British coast, there are a number of interesting characters, but it’s her relationship with Billy that becomes the focal point of the show, forming an unlikely friendship that offers plenty of warmth. There are plenty of twists and turns along the way in what is a fantastic six-part watch.
