Mehgann Fahy in The White Lotus — Mehgann Fahy in “The White Lotus”

Meghann Fahy is a beautiful strawberry blonde and she’s on her way to conquering Hollywood. She’s become a sensation with her starring role as Daphne in Season 2 of the HBO hit “The White Lotus,” and we expect her to become one of the more sought-after actresses in the business after this breakout performance.

Meghann got her first break in 2017 when she starred in “The Bold Type” which revolved around two best friends working at an elite magazine for women. She had a recurring role on “One Life to Live” and she’s also had small roles in television shows such as “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Blue Bloods” along with the film “Miss Sloan” starring Jessica Chastain.

“The White Lotus”

In Season 2 of this hit HBO series, Meghann stars alongside a stellar cast featuring established Hollywood actors and actresses along with some amazing newcomers. This season of “The White Lotus” is set in Sicily, so we’re also introduced to some amazing Italian actors and actresses. Meghann’s character Daphne is a housewife married to Cameron (Theo James), a rich financial planner. She’s sweet and bubbly while he’s clearly a player. They’re a beautiful couple on vacation in Sicily accompanied by Cameron’s college friend Ethan (Will Sharpe) and his wife Harper (Aubrey Plaza), who are also an attractive couple. They’re a little more uptight, and the chemistry between the two couples is awkward from the beginning. As with everything on this show, things then start to get a little weird. This storyline intertwines with several others as viewers are left to wonder which character or characters won’t survive. Watch the trailer here.

Interviews and Quotes

Meghann Fahy Is in Her Breakout Era
In this Glamour article, Meghann discusses her role as Daphne: “I think the most relatable part of Daphne is just her innate warmth. She’s certainly a person that I would call unconcerned with basically everything that’s happening in the world, and voting, and those qualities are not necessarily things that I relate to. But it does come naturally for her to make people feel comfortable. You can really feel her trying with Harper to make a connection and ask Harper questions about what she does for work and what kind of things she’s interested in.”
