Love just begins to explain the sexual obsession men have with the bubbly Jennifer Love Hewitt, a former child star who has recently grown into a knockout body (check out the cover of her album BareNaked if you don’t believe us) that surely complements her already riveting good looks and her down-to-earth personality. Jennifer has established an improving resume over the past few years and finally appears ready to become an actress to the likes of Audrey Hepburn. Starting young like most aspiring actors, Hewitt had already begun to perform in shows with the Texas Show Team at age ten when she received her first Hollywood role on the Disney Channel’s “Kids Incorporated.” While working on the show in the early 90’s, Jennifer also appeared on a number of television commercials for Mattel and L.A. Gear and flexed her muscles in the Barbie workout video, also singing the video’s tunes on a Japan-released album Love Songs. In 1993, Jennifer grabbed a small part in the sequel to the Whoopi Goldberg hit “Sister Act” and continued to work in made-for-TV movies and mini-series when she released her second album, Let’s Go Bang. Jennifer’s career was spawned when Jennifer was cast in a minor role on Fox’s “Party of Five” that was later developed into a regular role after the show’s success.
Fast becoming a staple in every teenage boy’s poster collection, Jennifer hit gold when she starred opposite fellow teen sensation Sarah Michelle Gellar in the teen slasher film “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and in 2000, when she was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Female TV Star for the “Party of Five” spin-off series “Time of Your Life.” After taking a break from film and TV and growing up some, Jennifer returned as a much more mature (and top heavy) woman as Sigourney Weaver’s daughter in “Heartbreakers” and in Jackie Chan’s “The Tuxedo,” for which she did a majority of her own stunts. Jackie even says that Jennifer’s kicking was better than her stunt double’s. Although there were rumors that Jennifer has a plastic surgeon to thank for her mouth-watering chest, she has been seen sporting a T-shirt that reads “Silicone Free” — her affirmation that she is 100% natural. Recent roles in less teen-oriented films like “Heartbreakers” and “The Tuxedo” have introduced her to a whole new audience, and we predict that it’s only a matter of time before Jennifer will be regarded as a formidable talent. Look out for a grab bag of new films starring Jennifer that should make or break her jump towards stardom.
Jennifer Love Hewitt on the Screen
Starting out as a child actress, Jennifer made her way into films a lot easier than most aspiring actors. After her long stint playing the good-girl role on Fox’s hit drama “Party of Five,” Jennifer briefly introduced herself in “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit” before becoming a teen star in “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” the horror flick’s sequel and “Can’t Hardly Wait.” Growing up in Hollywood can be fairly revealing and after a few years away from the scene, Jennifer bounced back as a newly matured adult, showing of her polished acting abilities and drop dead looks in the comedy “Heartbreakers” and as Jackie Chan’s sidekick in “The Tuxedo.” In between shooting films and TV series, Jennifer has also continued to follow her dream as a musician. Although her first three albums Let’s Go Bang (1995), Jennifer Love Hewitt (1996) and How Do I Deal (1999) were only international successes, her latest album BareNaked with Jive Records has proven to become a more popular album in the US. Now that Jennifer has come back for a second try at stardom, it will be interesting to see how she fairs against the incoming army of jailbait teen queens like Hilary Duff and the Olsen Twins.
Jennifer Says
On her breasts:
“I just accepted them as a great accessory to every outfit.”
On treating herself like a normal person:
“I love that whole princess mentality, but I also like throwing my hair in a ponytail and just wearing jeans, going on a hike and then eating a big chili-cheeseburger.”
