Establishing herself as a model, including a 2008 cover appearance in the French edition of Playboy, Lily Cole was born in the UK in 1988 and raised in London. She started modeling in 2003 and was named model of the year in 2004. By 2007, she was ranked as one of the richest young people in Britain.

It was Marilyn Manson and Terry Gilliam, respectively, who lured Lily to the big screen. Gilliam cast Cole in “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” starring the late Heath Ledger. Gilliam, impressed by her acting, stated: “She has an amazing look and grasps what is required so very quickly. If she wants a career as an actress, she has a brilliant future.” Lily has also appeared in some music videos, including Primal Scream’s music video “Can’t Go Back.” She’s a strong advocate of protecting the environment and going green, and has been involved in a relationship with actor Enrique Murciano, best known as Special Agent Danny Taylor on “Cold Case.”

Lily on the Screen

Lily made her acting debut in the 2007 film “St. Trinian’s” starring Gemma Arterton. She is Lettuce Leaf in “Rage,” a 2009 indie film starring Judi Dench and Steve Buscemi.
