Rachel Brosnahan has become a big star in Hollywood with her leading role in the hit Amazon comedy show “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” as she showed off her impressive comedic talents.
Rachel landed her first film role as a teenager and has been a busy actress ever since. She was cast in the horror flick “The Unborn” which was produced by hit director Michael Bay.
In her college years, Rachel had one-time appearances in hit shows such as “Gossip Girl,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “The Good Wife.” After graduating from college, Rachel’s career started gaining traction after she was cast for longer-term roles in several television series such as “The Blacklist” and “Black Box.” She also had roles in theater being cast in plays such as “Up” and “The Big Knife.”
In year 2013, Rachel caught a big break with her role as Rachel Posner, a lesbian call girl working powerful men in D.C. Her performance earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She was brilliant in the role and wasn’t shy about showing off her impressive figure in steamy nude scenes. She was originally cast for just a few lines, but she was so compelling that her role was expanded.
The year 2017 gave Rachel her biggest break yet with “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Using her experience growing up with Jewish culture growing up, Rachel delivered an impressive performance that earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and two Golden Globes. She helped create an iconic character with Miriam “Midge” Maisel who discovers that she has a talent for stand-up comedy. Few actresses have the talent and charisma to pull off a role like that.
Rachel is now established as one of the best actresses in Hollywood, and she continues to get solid roles in films like “The Courier” (2020) and another leading role in the Amazon movie “I’m Your Woman” (2020).
