Myha’la in “Industry”

Myha’la (formerly Myha’la Herrold) is becoming a star to be reckoned with her role as Harper Stern inthe HBO/BBC series “Industry,” Harper is a ruthless, ambitious young trader navigating the cutthroat world of London finance. Through the series, we see Harper evolve from a wide-eyed graduate to a calculating fund manager. He’s a cold-hearted badass and she’s fearless, but her greed also gets her into trouble at times. She’s not afraid to live inn the gray area and take chances. Saying the role involves moral ambiguity is an understatment, and Myha’la embodies the nuances of this role beautifully.

“Industry” is a wild show. While at times a little too frenetic in the storytelling, it manages to capture the hogh-intensity lifestyle of the London financial scenes, with plenty of parties, sex and drugs mixed in. Myha’la is ferless in her devotion to the role, effortless handing the nudity and sex scenes that come with the part.

She also has amazing chemistry with her co-star Marisa Abela who plays Yasmin on the show. The two of them have this bizarre love-hate relationship that weaves through many of the storylines.

More Roles

Myha’la has expanded into films, delivering a sharp performance as Jordan in the 2022 A24 horror-comedy “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” alongside Rachel Sennott and Pete Davidson, where she received praise for her frenetic energy.
