Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1987, AnnaLynne McCord made her debut as a teenager in the 2002 indie film “The Middle of Nowhere” – the same year she graduated high school at fifteen. “Transporter 2” followed in 2005. It took a few years before AnnaLynne made a true breakthrough in her acting profession, finding work on “The O.C.,” “Cold Case,” “Ugly Betty,” and one season of “American Heiress” in 2007.

But it was her role as Eden Lord on “Nip/Tuck” that really exposed AnnaLynne. She also snagged co-starring billing under Nick Cannon and Mena Suvari in the 2008 remake “Day of the Dead.” 2008 proved to be AnnaLynne’s big year; on the heels of “Day of the Dead” came the part of Naomi Clark in the reboot of “90210” on The CW. Her penchant for thrillers going back to “The Middle of Nowhere” continues with the Halloween 2008 release of “The Haunting of Molly Hartley.” Whether AnnaLynne will traverse a similar career as Shannen Doherty remains to be seen, of course, but her appeal is definitely drawing her attention and work. AnnaLynne has already overcome a major obstacle – she stands out in a crowd.

With “90210” attempting to make a splash on television, AnnaLynne is also on the big screen in fall 2008 with “The Haunting of Molly Hartley.” In 2009, she’ll have the lead in “Amexica” for Ron Krauss, as well as the teen comedy “Fired Up.”

AnnaLynne Says

On her idol, Shannen Doherty:
“I love Shannen Doherty. She, from a very young age, had the ‘it’ factor. Shannen Doherty is the epitome of what a talented young actor was, back in the day.”
