While the nightlife in Brussels is overshadowed its extended neighbors - Paris, London and Amsterdam – it’s still a major city, so the nightlife is lively and diverse. The jazz scene has been strong since the 1920’s, and live music can be heard throughout the year in a smattering of clubs around the city. The scene culminates at the Brussels Jazz Marathon in May. Two popular jazz clubs are L’Archiduc (Rue Antoine Dansaert 6) and SoundsJazzClub (Rue de la Tulipe 28). The club scene is not as well aged, but top international DJs visit LeFuse (Rue Blaes 208) to play techno, house and jungle.
