Born on the East Coast in 1979, Jayma Mays pursued a full-time career in acting following completion of her degree in Performing Arts from Radford University. It was the short-lived sitcom “Joey” in which Jayma made her screen debut in television, and it was the 2005 suspense thriller “Red Eye” that introduced moviegoing audiences to her talents.
Jayma’s made appearances on such heralded contemporary television shows like “Back to You,” “Heroes” and “Ugly Betty.” On the big screen, “Epic Movie” and “Blind Dating” are Jayma’s top credits next to “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” in which she romances Kevin James. She is now part of the cast of “Glee,” the FOX musical comedy created by Ryan Murphy.
