Born in New York in the summer of 1984, Alexis began her career with bit roles on television before her feature film debut, “Season of Youth.” in 2003. She found indie films her forte, including “Strangers with Candy” and the Jim Jarmusch film “Broken Flowers” with Bill Murray. From 2005-2006 she was Kira Underlay on the sci-fi drama series “Invasion,” but lately, Alexis has gravitated towards more commercial fare like “Fool’s Gold” and “Entourage,” with occasional indie work like “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.” She remained a resident of New York until her 2005 move to L.A. and has attempted her hand at playwriting in addition to acting.
