Carmen Electra seems to be getting better with age. She still looks like she’s 21, and we’re betting that she’ll stay in top form for years to come. Carmen isn’t the most entertaining of the long list of models-turned-actresses, but she’s certainly one of the best to look at.
Carmen’s biggest flaw, of course, is her terrible taste in men. Any woman who has spent one night with Dennis Rodman, let alone MARRIED him, has to be damaged goods. She’s also been linked to Prince (is that his name these days?), which isn’t much better. But Carmen is so damn hot that perhaps she’s overcome this horrible chapter in her life. She’s now married to Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers and whatever other bands he’s decided to stop in one (which has to be an improvement), though she can ask Pamela Anderson about the prospects of marrying a rock star.

Carmen Electra on the Screen
As for Carmen’s acting, let’s just say that she’s not going to be confused with Meryl Streep when it comes to acting talent. Her job on screen is very simple: look hot! She’s naturally well-qualified for this type of job, so God bless her! Whoever produced “Baywatch” was a genius, having a real knack in finding just the right type of actress/babe. Carmen fit right in. She has also most recently appeared in cameo roles for mainstream films like “Scary Movie” and “Starsky and Hutch” and is still heading the modern cabaret review in Los Angeles known as “The Pussycat Dolls.” Because of her association with Playboy, you have plenty of chances to see Carmen in all her glory.
Carmen Says
On making it as a celebrity:
“Certain people will look at Playboy to see the outer beauty. But you can’t make it very long in this business with only that. You have to have something on the inside… which includes talent if you want a real career.”
On her popularity as a pin-up:
“I was watching an HBO special the other night on real-life maximum-security-prison guys. I glanced up, and my poster was in quite a few cells. I was screaming ‘Oh, no!'”
On “Baywatch”:
“I never had my own name on a bathing suit on Baywatch. I was always given one that said Pamela or Yasmine. I earned my own suit, at the end of the season, which I now have framed.”
Lane’s Take
One time Carmen Electra walked in on Dennis Rodman in bed with another woman. Apparently he said to her, “I don’t know how she got here.” The scary part isn’t that Dennis Rodman would cheat on Carmen Electra. The scary part is that he said that thinking Carmen just might buy it.
I love that in a woman.
