Although you can manage cleaning and scrubbing at home with no or minimum tools but in a commercial building, you must need a proper commercial floor scrubber to do the cleaning. With the technological advancements in every field, we get to see the cleaning robots and big scrubbing machines to do floor cleaning. It is amazing that now machines can do the floor scrubbing and cleaning but there is a need for a person to supervise the machine for effective results.
If you are looking for a commercial floor cleaning machine, then check out floor scrubber from different websites and make sure it is according to your needs. These days, there are different kinds and features that can be used in any commercial building. Here we have managed to sum up the two general floor scrubber characteristics. Check them out down below:
Walk-behind type of commercial floor scrubber:
These are the most common type of commercial floor scrubber that we see in many commercial buildings like grocery stores or malls. These walk-behind type of commercial floor scrubber are either electric or battery-powered. Battery-powered floor cleaners are cheaper and can do the cleaning in less time as compared to the electric ones. They usually have the cart shape, and someone has to push it from behind at a normal slow walking pace. They also feature wheels and a handle just like carts to move around quickly.
The commercial floor scrubbers feature a disc or a cylinder at the bottom, which is basically a brush or cleaning pad. This brush disc or cleaning pad vacuums and scrubs the floor. The disc is usually changeable according to the floors. You can also empty the dirt bin attached to it once it is full. Just clean it and put it back every day for effective results. They are an excellent choice for shopping malls and commercial buildings with less open space. Make sure you use mild cleaning chemicals so that it would last longer because harsh chemicals and rough terrain could damage the machine pretty easily.
Ride-on commercial floor scrubber:
Some of these floor cleaning machines come in modified shapes where one person can sit in it and as it runs, it scrubs and cleans the floor. It is easy and comfortable than walking behind a commercial floor scrubber. These ride-on scrubbers feature cylindrical roller brushes that take on heavy dirt and clean effectively. But these brushes have the tendency to wear off sooner so it may not be cost-effective for you.
Ride on commercial floor scrubbers are big machines that require enough space to move around while cleaning. So, it would not be a good choice for small shopping malls where there are kids and people moving all around. They feature emergency buttons, horns, brakes, and warning lights to ensure its functionality among people. It would be a great choice for hotels, office spaces, museums and such sort of other commercial buildings. There are different ride-on machines to dry the wet floors as well.
