Also included in our media loaner was a booming Shaker audio system with AM/FM CD/MP3 with SYN voice activated system, Sirius satellite radio, split-fold rear seat, RR sensing security package, reverse park assist and a very slick rear video camera built into the rear view mirror. The 2013 Mustang is much more in the cabin than many would suspect and I even had two adults in the backseat without a single complaint. Try that in other sports cars!
Performance
The first thing admirers of the Green 2013 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe Premium MCA would ask me is, “What’s under the hood?,” and many were surprised when I told then it sported a 3.7 liter 4V TI-VCT V6 pumping out 305 horsepower. Yeah, they wanted to hear that it had much more juice, but after they took in the 300-plus horses, they felt it was enough for such a muscular and powerful looking Mustang. Our MCA had a six-speed transmission and handled very tight on the road, and the Pirellis tires really owned tough corners. Shifting was a breeze and quick with gears that were made to get this car up to speed in a hurry. The growl produced from the engine is just enough to get noticed but not too much where the car oversells what it can do on the road. Fuel efficiency is also a friend as this ultra sporty car clocked in at 19 mpg in the city and a strong 29 mpg on the highway.
