Eva Green is now a well-established actress after Martin Campbell snatched her for the part of the delicious Vesper Lynd in the re-adaptation of Ian Fleming’s “Casino Royale.” With her stunning looks we can expect to see much more of her in the years to come.
Born and raised in Paris, France, Eva was discouraged by her mother to begin an acting career with the fear that the business would be too hard on her. Despite her actress mother’s advice, however, Eva began studying in Paris and London, and was offered her very first film role only a few years later in Bernardo Bertolucci’s “The Dreamers.” This film made Eva an instant star. Following her debut, Eva appeared in another small foreign feature before making the move to American cinema alongside Orlando Bloom in Tony Scott’s Crusades film “Kingdom of Heaven.” Since then, Eva has returned overseas to appear in two more foreign films, but we can hardly wait for 2007, a year in which American audiences will be sure to experience her big explosion. And if that doesn’t work out, she can always get in a few car accidents – it worked for Halle Berry didn’t it?
Additional roles have included “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,” “300 Rise of an Empire” and “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.”
Eva’s Sexiest Roles
In “The Dreamers,” Eva Green simply sizzled on the screen with her infectuous charisma and incredible, full-frontal nude scenes. This is a must-see film for anyone who appreciates sensual filmmaking. Eva has an amazing body and she’s not afraid to show it off in this film. She went on to have many more sexy roles, but it’s hard to imagine anything comparing to her erotic performance in this film.

Eva Green Says
On her background:
“My father is a dentist. He has nothing to do with acting. He is proud of me. I come from a bourgeois family, like the family in ‘The Dreamers.'”
On her nude scenes in “The Dreamer”:
“I was very, very nervous about the naked scenes. I’m very shy and reserved. But it was Bertolucci and I have seen Last Tango. It’s not pornographic. He’s a master of eroticism. I stopped being self-conscious. You have to forget everything.”
On exercise:
“I’m French, so I’m quite lazy about exercising, and I smoke. But I do love going for a run in the morning with my dog. That’s all.”
