Bullz-Eye Fall Movie Preview:
Like summer, but colder
The fall movie season works like the summer movie season
in reverse. If there are any duds, they will be stacked in the early months,
leaving room for the Oscar contenders to duke it out in November and December.
It won’t quite be the Four Weeks of Terror that August was, but September and
October do have a few movies to answer for.
On paper, this looks like a pretty underwhelming fall; a bunch of movies have
potential, but few scream megasmash. Oddly enough, we think that’s a good thing;
it means there’s a good chance something will come along and completely take us
by surprise. Here’s hoping, anyway.
