The truth is finally out there with the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment release of “The X-Files: I Want to Believe,” a gripping feature film based on the global phenomenon that descends onto DVD and Blu-ray on December 2nd. A standalone story that picks up six years after the series ended, “The X-Files: I Want to Believe” finds Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) reunited after leaving their careers at the FBI behind them. Forgotten by their former employer, the duo is called on once again when women begin to disappear and body parts turn up buried in the snow of the Virginia wilderness.
