Krysten Ritter
Celebrities Home / Entertainment Home
By the end of the 2000s, Krysten Ritter fit comfortably into the supporting roles of ubiquitous romantic comedies (“27 Dresses,” “Confessions of a Shopaholic”), but started off as a model, discovered as a teenager in Pennsylvania and eventually making cash in New York. By 2003, she was part of the ensemble cast of “Mona Lisa Smile” and took to television for the next few years, particularly “Gilmore Girls” and “Veronica Mars.” Following her involvement in “What Happens in Vegas” and “27 Dresses,” Krysten seems to have found her niche in the romantic comedy genre, playing eclectic roles normally supporting the main character. She herself describes her look as “thrown-together rock ’n’ roll 90s grunge.” For now it seems to work, but that one breakout performance from Krysten Ritter remains to be seen.
