CD Reviews: Jason Thompson
Jason Thompson lived in Tennessee for nearly the first three decades of his life before relocating to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During that time, he wrote for such Internet publications as Fufkin.com and PopMatters. He also created and ran his own music-based web publication, Echo From Esoterica from 2001-2004. He was added to Bullz-Eye’s illustrious staff in 2005 and hasn’t looked back since. Jason runs his own site called Sniff The Tip, as well as its like-named podcast. He’s released a few CDs of his own, and counts The Velvet Underground, Hunter S. Thompson, and Ernie Kovacs amongst his influences. In 2006, Jason relocated to the Philadelphia area, currently making him a semi-successful transplant into the City of Brotherly Love. Dig it.
