How to Write a Personal Ad That'll Have Women Begging to Meet You
by: Jack Conway

Personal Ads Home / Online Dating Home / Opposite Sex Channel

Average four to eight dates a month using this system! It's no secret that online dating has become a popular way for guys to meet hot women. And to make sure you get your share of chicks, Bullz-Eye has invited professional writer Jack Conway from the WeeklyScore.com to show you an effective method for getting tons of women off of dating sites. Here's Part 1 of an exclusive three-part series on how to write personal ads that'll drive women crazy.

I don't have to tell you that Internet dating has become very popular. So popular that a recent study showed that nearly 12 million women currently use dating Websites to find a man.

That's a lot of chicks. But there are also a lot of guys on these sites competing for these chicks.

This presents a problem for you: With millions of men posting online personal ads on dating sites, how do you make your personal ad standout from the crowd so that you're guaranteed to get dozens of dates.

The answer: Let me, a professional advertising writer, show you how to write a personal ad that is so different yet so effective, you'll literally have women begging to meet you.

I'm not kidding. That's exactly what happened to me.

In September 2002, I posted a personal ad of myself using the same advertising techniques I use when I write magazine advertisements.

The results were amazing: Within the first week of posting my personal ad, 23 women responded to me.

By the end of the month, 50 women were e-mailing me, asking me out.

Now, I didn't do anything manipulative like post a picture of Brad Pitt or claim that I'm a millionaire.

All I did was follow a simple advertising method known in the advertising industry as the 3-U's. The 3-U's stand for:

1) Uniqueness
2) Ultra-specificity
3) Urgency

The 3-U method is so effective at attracting women, if you use it correctly, you'll literally eliminate the competition in your area.

But You Have to Make Your Ad Standout
You see, even though there are millions of women on these sites, the actual response rate is very low. For instance, for every 10 guys who post a personal ad on a dating site, only three will get a reply from a woman.

In fact, I've talked to guys who've had a personal ad on a dating site for months…and haven't received a single reply!

Why?

Because the personal ads most men post sound horrible, sound the same and worse yet, are plagued with grammatical errors.

But don't take my word for it. Go to any dating site and do a search of men in your city. Read the first 10 profiles that pop up…and count how many times you read, "I like to go hiking…I like salsa dancing…I like to do romantic things…I like to go to the movies."

Now imagine how women must feel when they read the same thing over and over again.

In this exclusive three-part series, I'm going to explain the 3-U method by showing you how to effectively use it in the three parts of a personal ad:

1) the headline
2) the personal profile
3) the close

And I guarantee that if you follow my technique for writing personal ads, your e-mail will be flooded with women wanting to meet you.

Ready? Good. Let's move on to the first part of your personal ad.

The Most Important Part of Your Personal Ad: The Headline (Make it Unique)
In advertising, there's something known as the three-second rule. In other words, you have three seconds to capture a customer's attention with your headline before he walks away or turns the page.

It's the same with personal ads.

Women will look at an average of 25 to 50 personal ads per session.

If your headline is boring and typical, she'll move on to the next guy.

So I want you to remember this: The headline is the most important element of your personal ad. It's your first written contract with a woman, so make it count.

Now, I want to show an example of what I'm talking about. I did a search of men in Philadelphia on one of the most popular dating sites in America. The very first personal ad that popped up had this headline:

"Cool guy looking for a date."

This headline is an excellent example of what not to do. It isn't unique. In fact, it's boring and typical. It's also redundant. Of course you're looking for a date; otherwise, you wouldn't be on a dating site. So don't waste precious time and space stating the obvious.

The best approach is to use a headline that's intriguing and inviting, one that makes her think or answer a question.

A headline my members have had tremendous success with is: "Have you ever been to X?"

Replace the X with the location of your choice, as in "Have you ever been to Cunningham Falls during May?"

This will immediately get her excited and curious…"Hmmm, what's so special about Cunningham Falls?" She'll click on your ad to find out what you're talking about.

And that's exactly what you want: a lot of women clicking on your ad. With a lot of women clicking on your ad and e-mailing you, you can pick and choose the ones you want to meet.

But before you do that, you have to further intrigue and seduce with your personal profile.

I'll tell you how to do that on March 31 in the second part of this series. But if you want to get started right now, you get a copy of my Guaranteed to Get a Date Guide

The Guaranteed to Get a Date Guide is a concise report full of information you can use right now.

In the Guaranteed to Get a Date Guide I give you 15 headlines that have been tested and proven to work. In addition to 15 headlines, I also give you four personal ads you personalize for yourself…including the exact ad that got me 23 women in seven days.

Headlines never to use in your personal ad (these are real headlines I found on one of the most popular dating sites):
Single white male looking for nice girl
Knows how to treat a lady
Adventure seeker
Seeking that special someone
Where are you?
Romantic at heart
A nice guy who always finished last
Perpetual student
Looking for Ms. Right
Hey There, stop and say hello
Get to know me
Hi there!
