The Lexus RX has been completely redesigned by Lexus for the 2023 model year, though you won’t notice huge changes on first glance.
Lexus has made some minor changes to the RX design without overhauling the look of the vehicle. You can see the evolution of the now familiar Lexus spindle grille on the vehicle’s front end when you compare this new RX to the 2016 model we took for a test drive. It’s much more pronounced and bottom heavy now, but it still looks great and it’s a logical evolution of the design.
Overall, we’re still impressed with the overall look of the vehicle. With the onslaught of SUVs, it’s quite difficult to stand out these days from a design point of view. Most of the styling advances are being reserved for the electric models.
The new 2023 RX is offered in many variations: Standard, Premium, Premium+, Luxury, F SPORT Handling and F SPORT Performance. You ought to be able to find one that suits your tastes, assuming you have the budget for a luxury SUV. If you love power and the driving experience you’ll definitely want to test drive the F SPORT Performance model.
