Host Country/City

The choice of a country for this year’s edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was a fierce competition because many countries battled to be the host. At the final lap of the selection, Israel, Eilat, Jerusalem, and Haifa made the list of potential hosts. In the end, the odds went in favor of Israel.

It seems the organisers favoured Israel because of the country’s display at the 2018 edition, which helped it emerge victorious at the end.

The city of Tel Aviv in Israel, which is acclaimed for its rich display of culture and entertainment, became the host city for the competition.

Venue for the Competition

The final lap of Eurovision Song Contest will hold at the Expo Tel Aviv. The venue also incorporates the Tel Aviv Convention Centre, Pavilion 2, which has the capacity to hold 10,000 guests. At the last count, around 7,280 spectators are expected to grace the event. There is also a provision for 46 commentator booths.
